4 th July the evening

A quick post, hopefully mainly visual too...

We have both had the best meal ever at the Embers restaurant at the Imperial Palace. As some might know, we love steak and wine, and we had the ultimate steak, Chateau Briaunde and some red wine. Soooooo goooood.

We had a great bottle of wine with that too, plus the pitcher of a liquor coffee AND a large wine glass of port afterwards too. The Americans aren't too clued up on the way us Brits go to the 'Staines Steak House'.

The day was a little hectic. There is a small HSBC credit scare that caused a lot of internet but hopefully that is sorted, but we have done some fun things. Namely, driving a Hummer H2 over an assualt course AND a Chevy Corvette around a small race track. (all for 10 dollars, I'm going back tomorrow).

The ride was good. Though the girl, who was the deisgnated professional driver, looked a little scared when I said it was the first time I'd driven an automatic left hand drive car. Plus the brakes are better than the accelerator on the corvette.

Before I was allowed to drive I had to take a breathaliser test. And though I hadn't had anything to drink for 24 hours, Sarah was concerned that due to certain habits I may have given a steady 'heavy' reading regardless of the localised intake. Luckily I came up 0 to prove you all wrong!

The ride was great.
